Participants are required to pay the full course fee or the agreed-upon installment payments to secure enrollment in the program.


All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases of course cancellation by Hackademia Institute or the participant makes such request on or before the end of the first week of the program.

Participants opting for installment payments must adhere to the agreed-upon payment schedule.


Failure to complete installment payments by the specified deadlines may result in suspension from the program until full payment is received.


2. Attendance and Participation:


2.1. Attendance Requirements:

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions, including lectures, workshops, and guest speaker sessions.


Attendance will be recorded for each session


2.2. Participation Expectations:

Active participation in course activities, discussions, and group projects is essential for the successful completion of the program.


Participants must engage respectfully with instructors, guest speakers, and fellow participants at all times.


Participants are expected to be punctual and consistent in attendance


2.3. Assignment Completion:

Participants must complete all assigned tasks, projects, and assessments within the specified deadlines.
Late submissions may incur penalties or affect overall course performance assessments.


3. Conduct:


3.1. Code of Conduct:

Participants must adhere to the institute’s code of conduct, which prohibits disruptive behavior, harassment, discrimination, or any other form of misconduct.


Respectful and professional interaction with instructors, guest speakers, mentors, and fellow participants is expected at all times.


3.2. Ethical Standards:

Participants must uphold ethical standards in all aspects of their participation in the program, including academic integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.


3.3. Disciplinary Actions:

Violations of the institute’s code of conduct or ethical standards may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, probation, suspension, or expulsion from the program without a refund of fee or transfer of fee.


4. Intellectual Property:


4.1. Ownership of Course Materials:

All course materials, including lectures, presentations, handouts, and resources provided by Hackademia Institute, are the intellectual property of the institute.


Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without prior consent from Hackademia Institute.


4.2. Participant Projects and Assignments:

Participants retain ownership of their individual assignments, projects, and intellectual property created during the program.


By submitting assignments or projects, participants grant Hackademia Institute the right to reference and showcase their work for promotional & research purposes.


4.3. Use of Participant Information:

Participants grant Hackademia Institute the right to use their name, photograph, feedback, reviews, and other relevant information for marketing, advertising, and research purposes.


This includes but is not limited to website testimonials, social media posts, promotional materials, and research publications.


5. Certification:


5.1. Completion Requirements:

Participants must fulfill all course requirements, including attendance, participation, assignments, and assessments, to be eligible for certification.


Certification is contingent upon meeting the institute’s standards for performance and participation throughout the program.


5.2. Certificate Issuance:

Certificates of completion will be issued to participants who meet all course requirements within the specified timeframe.


Certificates will be sent electronically via email or made available for download through the institute’s preferred platform.

6. Refund Policy:


6.1. Refund Eligibility:

Participants may request a refund of course fees if such a request is made on or before the first week of the program.
Refund requests made upon the commencement of the second week’s class will not be entertained.


6.2. Refund Process:

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days from the date of the acknowledgment of such request.


7. Benefits:

Participants are entitled to the exclusive benefits associated with the training program, including certification of completion, mentorship, career guidance, and access to the institute’s tech community.


8. Disclaimers:


8.1. Liability Limitation:

Hackademia Institute shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or other incidents incurred by participants during the program, whether on-site or online.
Participants assume full responsibility for their health, safety, and well-being throughout the duration of the program.


8.2. Insurance Coverage:

Participants are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage, including health insurance, travel insurance, or any other relevant insurance policies, as deemed necessary.


8.3  Job Placement:
Hackademia does not guarantee job placement to program participants. While Hackademia acts as a liaison between participants and recruitment partners, facilitating access to its database of beneficiaries for potential job opportunities, it does not guarantee employment. Participants are responsible for actively seeking and applying to job opportunities on their own accord.


9. Amendments and Cancellations:


9.1. Program Changes:

Hackademia Institute reserves the right to amend course schedules, content, instructors, or any other aspect of the program as deemed necessary.
Participants will be notified of any changes to the program in a timely manner.


9.2. Course Cancellation:

In the event of course cancellation by Hackademia Institute due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment, participants will be notified, and a full refund of course fees will be provided.


10. Dispute Resolution:


10.1. Resolution Process:

Any disputes or disagreements arising between participants and Hackademia Institute shall be resolved through mutual discussion, mediation, or arbitration, as deemed appropriate by both parties.


10.2. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of Nigeria.

By enrolling in any training program offered by Hackademia Institute, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. Failure to comply with these terms may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the program, without entitlement to a refund of course fees.
